지금 이전의 시간 기간은 for + 기간을 사용하여 그 기간을 고려하거나, since + 시점과 같이 사용하여 시작 점을 고려함으로서 정의할 수 있습니다. FOR 그리고 SINCE는 모두 과거 완료와도 같이 사용될 수 있습니다. SINCE는 오직 완료 시제와만 사용될 수 있습니다. FOR는 단순 과거와도 사용될 수 있습니다.
