형태
미래 진행형은 두 요소로 구성됩니다:
'to be' 동사의 단순 미래형 +현재 분사 (원형+ing)

미래 진행형은 지금 이후의 시간에도 진행중일 종료되지 않은 사건이나 행위를 진술합니다. 미래 진행형은 매우 다른 몇 가지 목적들을 위해서 사용됩니다.
미래 진행형은 우리 자신을 미래로 투영하기 위해서 사용될 수 있습니다.
예
- This time next week I will be sun-bathing in Bali.
- By Christmas I will be skiing like a pro.
- Just think, next Monday you will be working in your new job.
미래 진행형은 미래 사건을 예측하거나 츠측하는데 사용될 수 있습니다.
예
- He'll be coming to the meeting, I expect.
- I guess you'll be feeling thirsty after working in the sun.
- You'll be missing the sunshine once you're back in England.
의문문 형태에서, 미래 진행형은 정중하게 미래에 대한 정보를 물을 때 사용될 수 있습니다.

- Will you be bringing your friend to the pub tonight?
- Will Jim be coming with us?
- Will she be going to the party tonight?
- Will I be sleeping in this room?
미래 진행형은 미래 일어날 것으로 예측하는 연속적인 사건을 표현하기 위해서 사용될 수 있습니다.

미래 진행형은 still와 같이 사용되면 지금 이미 일어나고 있고 미래 어느 때까지도 지속될 것으로 예상되는 사건을 진술합니다.
